Lisa D Black currently resides in Wewoka, Oklahoma and is a full time employee at Emerald 66 Enterprises. She is actively involved in criminal justice reform and is a recipient of a college scholarship with TEEM. She has started her junior year of college at East Central University which she attends with her daughter. Lisa has the unique juxtaposition of having worn the blue of a police uniform and the orange of a convicted felon. Throughout her time at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center, she prides herself on staying connected with her children through literature and art as well as assisting many incarcerated women receive their GED.
