PJ Oklahoma Volunteer Training 3
Join us for one of three annual volunteer trainings offered over Zoom. Each session is scheduled from 6:00–7:30 p.m. We expect to finish early if possible, but have reserved the full 90 minutes to ensure we have plenty of time for questions and discussion.
Training Dates:
Thursday, August 20
Saturday, August 22
Wednesday, August 26
These trainings are designed for both new and returning volunteers. We'll cover the mission and values of Poetic Justice, review what to expect as a volunteer, discuss any recent updates to our programs and processes, and share what's coming up in the months ahead. We'll also go over volunteer expectations, communication, mailing, and ways we can better support you in your role.
Whether you've been volunteering for years or are just getting started, we encourage everyone to attend one of these three training sessions each year. It's a great opportunity to refresh your understanding of our work, reconnect with our mission, ask questions, and make sure we're all on the same page as we continue serving together.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Poetic Justice Coffee Trail
Poetic Justice Coffee Trail
Join us for the Poetic Justice Coffee Trail, happening throughout August at six participating coffee shops across Tulsa!
Each location will feature portraits and poetry from our Voices on the Inside project, sharing the work and stories of women participating in Poetic Justice programs.
To complete the trail, visit five of the six participating coffee shops, purchase a drink or item at each stop, and collect your punches along the way. Once you’ve visited five locations, you’ll receive a free Poetic Justice anthology!
Participating locations include Foolish Things Coffee Company, Chimera Cafe, SheBrews Coffee (Tulsa), Coracle Coffee, Jones Co. Coffee, and Inheritance Juicery.
Special stop: Chimera Cafe is offering a Poetic Justice Matcha Latte during the Coffee Trail, with 40% of each purchase donated directly to Poetic Justice.
We’re so excited to bring Voices on the Inside into coffee shops across Tulsa and give our community another way to experience the creativity, voices, and writing of our participants.
