(2026) Ashley Garrison Featured in The Oklahoman

We are proud to share that one of our longtime participants, Ash, was recently published in The Oklahoman with an opinion piece addressing Oklahoma’s “failure to protect” laws and proposed legislation, Senate Bill 1417.

Ash has been part of the Poetic Justice community for years and is also a member of our prison journalism newspaper staff. Her writing continues to reflect the lived experiences, insight, and courage that define so much of the work created inside our programs.
