(2026) Lindsey Featured in The Marshall Project
Lindsey, a writer at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center, was recently featured in The Marshall Project through their Life Inside series.
In her piece, “My Long Hair Isn’t a Vanity Project. It’s My Last Connection to Life Outside,” she reflects on how something as simple as her hair has taken on new meaning during incarceration. What once felt like a small part of her identity has become one of the only things she feels she still owns.
