Julie Ann Ward, PhD, is a writer, translator, and grant professional who believes in the power of language to open doors and build community. As the founder of J. Ward Solutions, she partners with nonprofits to secure funding for education, workforce, and community development initiatives. Formerly a tenured professor at the University of Oklahoma, has a background in Hispanic literatures and brings a commitment to equity to all her work. She was honored as the first Poet Laureate of the City of Norman, Oklahoma, and is honored to support Poetic Justice’s mission to amplify voices and stories that inspire healing and transformation.
